This is Diamond Head, MS. Although  5 miles from the gulf, this home was destroyed by over ten feet of flood water. Two thirds of this community suffered flood damage.

Katrina 

These two building are less than one block apart. The church on the right was the headquarters for Presbyterian Disaster Relief Ministries. Although damaged, and without power, drinkable water or toilet facilities, hundreds of Christian volunteers, including Resurrection Relief Ministries served the community, distributing food,clothing and medical aid to over 500 families daily. The church also housed dozens of volunteer crews working in the surrounding communities doing home repair, medical assistance, and counseling.
